Biturich Trading Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Bitucorp), an associate company based in India, set up India’s first port based bulk bitumen storage facility in 1988.
Today Biturich serves as the technical wing of the group providing design and support services for projects including installation of tanks, PMB machinery and plants etc.
Biturich has designed and provided technical assistance and equipment to various entities in the Middle East, Malaysia, Vietnam, Africa and the Indian subcontinent for setting up bitumen storage terminals of up to 6,000 meter capacity.

Richmond ships more than 300,000 MT of drummed bitumen annually from major refineries as well as through its own drumming facilities in the Middle East. Key destinations include Africa, Bangladesh, China, India, Sri Lanka and South East Asia. The Group can ship product in new and reconditioned drums and containers or break bulk or palletized as required by clients.
Richmond also offers environmentally friendly packing solutions such as bagged bitumen using the patented PolyCube system developed in Austria. Bitumen is bagged and shipped by Richmond from its facilities in the U.A.E. in 300kg bags.
This is an efficient and practical solution for delivering cost efficiency in transportation, stackability, improvement in warehousing and enhancing supply capabilities in difficult geographic locations.

The Group manufactures Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) and Emulsions and has a technical tie up with the renowned institution - the Modified Asphalt Research Center (MARC) at the University of Wisconsin (Madison) acentre of engages in innovation in new bituminous binders and asphalt applications technologies.
Since 2012, the Group has been delivering PMB binders to landmark airport and highway projects in the Middle East. The Group is in the process of expanding its Value Added Bitumen / PMB business in other emerging markets.
In areas where shore based tank terminals are not available, Richmond supplies bulk bitumen in 20 foot ISO bulk bitumen tank containers, thus implementing a unique logistics solution in areas where a fixed bulk bitumen storage tank may not be feasible.
These bitumen containers are used to deliver bulk bitumen from the supply terminal, directly inland to customer’s sites. All Bitutainers are fully equipped with insulation and heating facilities. Over 50,000 MT have been delivered to U.S. Aid and World Bank projects in Afghanistan using this concept.
The group operates a fully equipped state-of-the-art laboratory in the UAE for testing of base bitumen, modified bitumen, bitumen emulsions and cutback bitumen products with a Pilot Plant.
The laboratory caters to the Group’s rigorous in-house Quality Control requirements, as well as to customers’ routine and project specific Quality Plans.
